Facebook blames API bug for change in default e-mail addresses

Facebook had recently come under severe fire for changing the default email addresses of its users to the one with a @facebook.com suffix. According to reports, the problem may have spread to mobile users as well. Reports said users with address books synced to mobile devices unknowingly had all their synced contacts overwritten.
