Apple's iPhone 5 rumoured to run on Samsung's Exynos 4 processor

The Internet is abuzz with rumours that Apple's next flagship smartphone, dubbed as the iPhone 5, will be powered by a new A6 quad-core processor, based on Samsung's Exynos 4 architecture. Citing unnamed industry sources, DigiTimes in its report says competition for quad-core smartphones will intensify in Q4 2012 with the upcoming iPhone and other models launching with quad-core chips.
