TRAI to improve service quality for 3G voice calls

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has announced measures to improve quality of 3G mobile services in the country. The regulatory body in its Standards of Quality of Service of Cellular Mobile Telephone Service (Amendment) Regulations, 2012, specifies quality of service standards for the 3G / UMTS networks covering voice calls.
