Gingerbread tops Android OS share, ICS grows to 4.9 percent

Google has released latest set of Android version statistics. The updated figures show Android Ice Cream Sandwich is rapidly growing, while Gingerbread has finally started to slow down. Google's latest figures show ICS is now running on 4.9 percent of devices, which is up from 2.9 percent last month. Gingerbread, which is running on most of devices, is now on 64.4 percent of phones and tablets. Honeycomb's market share stands at 3.3 percent, while Froyo enjoys 20.9 percent share.
